I have been looking forward to this visit for so long! Paisley was just a few months old when I last saw her, and now is an extremely smart and active toddler. Luke, Phoebe and Ethen have also grown up so much in the last 20 months since our last visit. These are wonderful days! We have had a fabulous 5 days together, but the time is passing way too fast. Scott will arrive on Sunday for the second week of the trip. We are saving some fun things to do for when he is with us, but here are some shots of the fun days so far!
Day One - a trip to the awesome Daejeon zoo! The weather was perfect, and we nearly had the park to ourselves. Besides a zoo, there are amusement rides, and stage shows to enjoy. Everytime I have been to this zoo ALL the animals have been awake and active. It was a great day!
We took a bus safari ride, and Ethen nearly shared his seat with a zebra who tried to climb aboard. All the kids got a chance to pet him before he was shooed off.
On Wednesday we went to the fish/agriculture market where wonderful fresh food of all kinds is in abundance!
And a real live pet octopus that the kids (and Mom) played with before donating it to the Elders for their dinner.
Thursday (today)we went ice skating with the missionaries for their district P'Day activity.

Keagan would be jealous. Octopus was one of his favorites when we lived in Korea.
