Just around the corner from the mission compound is the local hangout for the senior citizens in the neighborhood. Every day they are sitting on these couches right on the edge of the road chatting and laughing and having a good ole time. We invited ourselves to join them for a few minutes and they were so happy to let us take a picture with them! They are sweethearts.

If I had those couches I'd be hanging out a lot too! What beautiful people!
So did you speak English or Korean with them? Love how they are hangin out on the "porch" watching all the passers by :) I would like to do that too! Hopefully they aren't laughing at you, jk!!
That is so sweet! Did you get any recruits? Were they surprised that you spoke Korean?
We took the office elders out with us to take the picture. They talk to them everyday and are great friends. I've learned that if I just repeat a few of the words that they just said, they are so happy and we all feel like we are communicating!
