We were privileged last year to spend some personal time with President Monson, first when he called us to serve this mission, and again when we were set apart in June. Our whole family gathered in the President's conference room and enjoyed hearing stories, memories and council from both President Monson and President Eyring. President Monson set Alan apart and and then President Eyring set me apart with a truly beautiful blessing. It is a treasured experience we will always remember.

That is a great picture and what a privilege to be blessed and set apart by those great men.
At first glance I thought ... What is Sister Perriton doing with the new first Presidency? Then I realized it was Brother Perriton not President Uchtdorf. They do kind of resemble each other.
Also wanted to let you know we have an Elder from our ward serving with you, Elder Hill. There is another Elder from our ward serving with James, Elder Hawker.
Anyways, it is so fun to check in you and the great things you have to blog about. -Alison
